Data controller
The data controller is Mario Romita. For any request about personal data, write to contatti@marioromita.com.
Cookies
The site uses no analytics, profiling or advertising cookies. Visitors who enter the private area with a code receive a technical cookie that keeps access open for 8 hours; without it the private area cannot work. No consent is therefore required.
Private area
When you open a folder with a code or download a file, we record only the date and time, with no IP address or other data, so Mario can see it. These records are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Technical data
Like any website, the servers record IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting; these records are deleted automatically after 30 days. To protect private area codes and the contact form, attempts are counted per IP address, stored only in a transformed, unreadable form and deleted automatically within a day.
Messages sent to contatti@marioromita.com are delivered to Mario’s mailbox and used only to reply. They are not used for anything else or shared with anyone.
Contact form
The name, email, production company or agency and text entered in the form on the Contact page are delivered to Mario’s mailbox and kept on the site for 12 months, then deleted automatically. They are used only to reply to you. To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks from the browser that the sender is a person.
Providers
The site is hosted by Google Firebase on servers in the Netherlands. Photos, videos, email and the form’s spam check go through Cloudflare; files are stored in Europe. Both process data on behalf of the controller, under their own data protection terms.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contatti@marioromita.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
